Cliff & Bev Drever along with their children Lyndell, Ross, David and Lee operate Prairie Land & Cattle Co. with their partners Rick and Ann Kendall. The family ranch is now 4th generation with the goal of getting many future generations to be partners in the ranch.
Prairie Land & Cattle Co. is located in the rolling aspen parkland prairie of east central Alberta. The ranch is structured to maximize the sunlight and moisture available to produce annual as well as perennial forages on a year round bases for both livestock and wildlife. Presently the ranch provides the summer pasture and winter roughage for over 1000 cow/calf pairs.
We are proud to produce beef in a system that is sustainable for our ranch as well as the environment. How we treat our land and livestock today will have an effect on how our great-grandchildren and our customers will live in the future. Our direction is to live by choice and not by chance; developing a value chain like PRAIRIE HERITAGE BEEF PRODUCERS www.prairieheritage.ca is one way this will happen.
