Cow/Calf
Stone Cup Ranch is a commercial cow/calf operation located 1 1/2 hours east of Edmonton. Our cows are Hereford/Simmental and Angus/Simmental based, bred to Simmental bulls. We calve roughly 400 head a year, and have 100+/- bred heifers for sale each fall. The cattle are pastured around home and we grow all of our own feed. We were certified under the VBP program in 2004, the second cow/calf operation in Alberta to be certified, and have also completed an Environmental Farm Plan.
